Oriki Theater is a Silicon Valley based non-profit performing arts company that is dedicated to the promotion of Africa’s culture and heritage through a unique combination of dance, drama, music, poetry, folk stories, chants and the DRUM. COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND ARTS (CSMA)
Since its founding in 1968, the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) has grown to be the largest non-profit provider of arts education programs in the region. Through on-site and off-site programs, CSMA reaches 40,000+ people of all ages, levels and economic means annually, including 7,500+ students in 25+ schools. In keeping with its commitment to accessbility, the school provides more than $200,000 in financial aid and program subsidies every year. CSMA is among the top 10 schools of its kind in the U.S. In January 2004, CSMA opened its first permanent home at Finn Center, an award-winning facility dedicated to Arts for All!
